Questionaire

Gamers trying to test their skills with this Helm's Deep scenerio.

Requirement #1: Make the walls taller than the standard.

The standard height for the Deeping walls, as suggested in the rule books, were only 6 inches tall. This didn't seem so menacing to the gamers, so they asked us to increase the height of the Deeping wall. We wanted to make the walls look "epic" but not "silly". We had created these Deeping walls to be about 10 inches tall. As you can see, they do look nearly impossible to penetrate but the weakspot makes it so sweet for invaders to try their best to infiltrate the keep.

The Deeping Walls were modified to 10 inches tall.
Most of the ledges are over 2 inches for close-combat situations.
Requirement #2: 3-inch ledges for the walls

The LOTR figures must be able to fight close quartes by being able to occupy at least a 2" space facing each other. We were able to do that for most of the ledges.
Requirement #3: Making the stairs playable for LOTR figures/bases.

Many gamers complained that most of these fine replicas of famous buildings were not "gamer-friendly". The biggest complaint is the stairwells: Many of the figures cannot be proped on the stairs. We made sure that the stairwells can hold a 1-inch base figurine.
Although ineffective in real life, at least the stairwells can hold the 1-inch base figurines
