Walls are man’s greatest achievement and tool: A versatile and tactical obstacles. These solid structures protect areas and properties. Throughout human history, walls were used as decisive strategies to determine many critical outcomes of many battles: The Aurelian walls protected the inner cities of Rome from vicious barbarians; The Antonine and Hadrian walls ran across the continent of Scotland to hinder the Roman progress; The Great Wall of China, the largest and recognizable man-made structure in the world, was built to stop Mongolian invaders from the North during a span of several dynasties.
The usage and importance of walls in miniature wargaming are under-appreciated. Walls have played an extremely critical role in many battles, but it has not been recognized nor played “correctly” in miniature wargaming scenarios. This may be due to the fact that current market offers walls that are too short or too tall to be considered a strategic play. Also, many walls offered in this industry are priced too high to become affordable. Or maybe it’s just not the right wall…

KEM-Type Walls, or “K-Walls” for short, are the primary defense against onslaught of any army. The shape and dimensions of these walls are unique in design (patent pending). Our K-Walls are detailed inside and out to give it more depth and realism in every game play.

The K-Walls are individually and painstakingly molded by hand-pouring plastic mixture into our specialized cast. We use rigid polyurethane foam for its durability and weight: These walls can withstand 200+ pounds (one of us had stood on it) and weighs less than 8 ounces! The cells in the foam are relatively small and compact. This allows the K-Walls to be easily altered into battle-damage walls by chiseling into the surface of the wall and touching up with filler and paint. All the details are captured beautifully. DO expect air pockets and slight surface irregularities, but this adds a wonderful character to the K-Walls. The K-Walls are repairable using filler and spackling material. NO TWO WALLS ARE THE SAME!

Each K-Wall has a small, yet powerful Neodymium-Iron-Boron (nickel-plated) magnet on each side (located on the lower half). The K-Walls remain in place during the game play when placed side-by-side. The top half of each side has a rectangular slot to allow future accessories to be added on. Or, add your own imagination!
We designed these K-Walls to be affordable with great value in every imaginable way. They are unpainted/unprimed but the molds are dyed in black (if you prefer the original “sand” color, please let us know in your order). We currently offer the Modern/Future Industrial-themed K-Wall design. We plan to offer other designs as requested by many gamers in the near future.
