These walls were altered from the original design to create a canyon-look. This gives a nature camouflage from enemies without compromising the integrity of the wall structure.
How we do it:
Since these K-Walls are made of tightly-packed rigid foam, they are easily altered and scored by using a metal file, knife or screwdriver. Simply chip away the exterior walls to give the desired effect. The walls are thick to take deep cuts. In fact, the middle indent is the thinnest part of the wall, but roughly 1 inch thick. Then, the next step is painting.
We applied a black primer to each of the walls. The primer is sold at any fine home improvement store. We purchased the convenient spray can prime and applied a thin coat on every side of the K-Walls. After drying, we used acrylic craft paint to dry brush each piece.
